Biden will no doubt return to that miserable Iran-Nuke deal. That was the worst deal ever made. What did we get out of it? The sanctions were working just fine before Obama-Biden removed them. They were working? How so? Had they changed Iran's behavior at all? Was the regime in danger of collapse? Has reimposing the sanctions been effective? Do things look peaceful in the Middle East right now?

I believe this was also discussed in David Crist's The Twilight War (would need to go back and check).

SourceYeah, that is clearly an attempt to kill any negotiations or attempts to rejoin the JCPOA.

SourceBetween this, the assassination of a nuclear scientist, the submarine in the Gulf, the President's bluster, etc., it seems like we're trying to provoke a response from Iran. Also, seems like assassinating Soleimani and the IRG commander in Yemen took us to the brink of war for nothing.

Just to demonstrate the complexity of the ME and how convoluted our relationship with Iran since our invasion of Iraq... SourceKeep in mind the fit we threw (are throwing) over Iran engaging in a similar barter system with Venezuela.

SourceSourceSourceIt wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for Israel to engage in some type of false flag attack; see here.

SourceNo shit it wasn't a surprise. It was widely reported that he was a prisoner in Iran and was "released" as part of prisoner swap in 2015; however, he was not allowed to leave the country. This is his "evidence"? Talk about the thinnest of thin gruel. And it's the same BS neocons have been trying to sell since the Axis of Evil speech and the Iraq invasion.
