You would think that we would have bigger problems to deal with.
Like our own floundering economy, martial law, and social upheaval. Oh and the bat flu.

Even the adminstration's National Defense Strategy stresses a focus on "great power" competition. Iran is not a great power. It is a middling, regional power with limited aims and force projection. Our main concern there is nuclear proliferation, and we have proven we can address that through negotiation. We have simply abandoned that because the administration is rife with neocons who are still promoting regime change throughout the ME.

**grabs popcorn**
Or are we? Hard to have BOTH a robust foreign policy that relies on the threat of military intervention AND end the endless wars.

Donny is probably playing another one of his shell games. Claiming to fix a failing of previous administrations while maneuvering in the background to create an even bigger problem.

Eh, who needs stability in Syria. Let's stir that pot some more... SourceTrump is the King.
Of Chaos.
It's what he does best.
But it is not the best for America or the world.

Kind of a long thread about Bolton and Iran (as well as broader sanctions policy) based on his book. Mnuchin and Kushner come off quite well imo.
