Have any of you watched this comic book-based TV series? It’s on Amazon Prime.
This may be the most disturbing, violent, gory, depraved and repulsive TV show I’ve ever seen. The two main characters are Highlander and Butcher. Highlander is the series’ main antagonist, and he’s so evil that I can’t wait for him to die. Butcher is the top protagonist, but even he is hard to root for.
And yet, I’m hooked. I need to see this through to the finale (whenever that is).
If you know how the series ends (or comic book), please don’t spoil anything here.

Incidentally, I did a wedding yesterday for a guy that did a lot of SPFX work on that show.

The show is pretty true to the comics (at least in terms of goriness and depravity - taking some liberties with the original story obviously). It's also a pretty fun mirror being held up to the comic book movie franchises. |

The show is pretty true to the comics (at least in terms of goriness and depravity - taking some liberties with the original story obviously). It's also a pretty fun mirror being held up to the comic book movie franchises. I don't mind crude when there is a subtle undercurrent. What I loathe is crude and stupid. |

It's brilliant. me and my girl love it.
The latest titty milk scene is so far beyond fucked up. The look on Homelander's face when he gets sprayed with titty milk. That show is fucking amazing.
Fallout was good too.

Yes, I do. Every single character on that show is a profile in psychology. It's fucking amazing. I agree. It’s just so gross at times. The problem is, they keep trying to go one step further, to a point where the grossness detracts from the amazing plot. And thanks for the welcome back! |
