On the list of crazy things Trump has done, this one is pretty minor.
It is logical however. He likely wants to endear himself to the QAnon folks, and that would do the job.

When Biden takes the oval office, Trump will be investigated, and very likely, he will be found guilty of crimes.
In the past, with Nixon, for instance, the next president pardoned the one impeached.
So when Trump is in jail, will Biden be the bigger person, and to save our country's disgrace, will he pardon him.
It's a valid question of a likely future.

It's not insanity. It's pride. It is the reason they won't wear masks, the reason they won't admit they made a mistake with Trump, and the reason they feel they are oppressed.
It is the reason Trump never admits fault, the reason he will not take responsibility, and the reason he cheats at golf.

Anthony, who was arrested in 1872 for voting in the presidential election when only men were legally allowed to vote. The announcement came at a White House ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment to the constitution, which extended the right to vote to women. Anthony was fined $100 for breaking the law. Anthony was a leader in the movement to grant women the right to vote, as well as an anti-slavery pioneer. She died 14 years before it became illegal to deny an American citizen the right to vote on account of his or her sex. |
