Great NBA playoff season.
The Warriors are wonderful.
Wiggins is a positive revelation.
Clay Thompson is still great.
Curry is still greater. Poole in
the wings, Green still a monster.
Will they win another NBA title?

I'm not at all embarrassed to admit that despite having grown up in SF, and having lived in the Bay area for the past few decades, I don't recall ever having been to an SF Warriors game. But I do remember the names of the various stars.
I prefer baseball.

Game 2 recap:
After an intial point deficit in the first quarter, the Warriors have advanced to a 23 point lead toward by the end of the 3rd quarter. Let's see if they can keep it.
...
Now GSW has a 29 point lead almost 10 minutes into the 4th.
...
And the Warriors beat the Celtics, by a 29 point margin.

Tonight was not such a good night.
Here's the problem. Before the NBA
season started, which would you have
picked to be in the NBA Finals first,
the Celtics or the Warriors? I know that
I'd have picked the Celtics. They are good.
We must not go down 1-3.

Something tells me that GS is now somewhat hampered by Curry's leg injury. He is, after all, their top player. But perhaps the rest of the team can pull together and cover for him.

Well, Curry's leg injury appeared to be next to nothing. He scored something like 43 points in tonight's game (game 4), and led his team to victory. Now the series returns to SF and this is getting very interesting.

Now the series returns to SF and this is getting very interesting. The real disappointment has been Draymond Green. He seems to think that a loud mouth is a substitute for playing your role. Maybe he thinks that's his role, to argue every call and put a target on the backs of himself and his teammates. I understand his style of play and his role. When I played, I had much the same role and played much the same way, except I was less athletic, although a better shooter. He must return to form at home MON for them to win there. If they go up three games to two, it is unlikely they will lose the series. |

Yeah, I've been wondering what's up with Draymond in this series. I'll assume that Steve Kerr knows what he's doing and will make the right decisions to keep the GSW winning.

There are fireworks going off all over the SF Bay Area.
Only a chill wind has hit, less than 60F outside now. But, not a problem!

It will proceed from the Embarcadero to Sixth Street, about eight blocks (as I recall).
