vm.tiktok.com/ZTdb9BM7N/Men have had control over women. Religion has been a bedrock of this. Roe v Wade is to put the brakes on the advances made by women. This is why, among others, religion should be separate from government unless government is open fairly to all religions.

Do women have no control over men? Premise two: Religion has been a bedrock of this. Is this true? Where there is (or has been) no religion, have women been "less controlled by men"?

First of all, religion has been omnipresent for millenia, since the dawn of time, so to speak. It's only recently that we got a few oases of secularity in a gigantic desert of religious dogmatism and to cite one example that people like to talk about to say how bad it was, that is the USSR, well, women were treated as equals from the start, they were given ranks in the industry and the army and often gave orders to men. Something that took a lot longer in the so-called "enlightened" christianised occident. Just as an example: The first woman from the Soviet Union in space was in 1963, the first woman not from the Soviet Union in space was in 1983!!!
