Turns out many, if not most, of the reported incidents of human waste on sidewalks and streets in San Francisco are animal waste from dogs.

I've noticed you want to divide the United States up into sections. Lib/Dem run areas vs. Trump/Rep run areas on the other. Do you realize how silly that is? Do you divide people up that way as well? It makes no sense. Imagine if you applied this to service members. Should the military divide up Dems on one side and Reps on the other? How about healthcare workers? Can you see how foolish this is? You're dividing up America at a time when everybody needs to stick together.

And PP loves to ignore the truth.
For example, between 2016 and 2018 (the most recent year for which records are available), reports of feces on SF streets went up 53%.
Why the big increase?
I blame the biggest shit spreader on the planet: Donald Trump.

Of course you do. No surprise there. However, there has been a shit-load of feces on the streets of San Francisco since way before Candidate Trump ran for office. It's a strongly socialist dem city that evidently can't keep up with the feces that it spreads.

Having been to the city many times over the past 30 years, and seeing the massive decline, I can say it has gone downhill, especially since the mid 2000's....since we have a couple emotional posters here, lets stick to facts and data... www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/aug/18/san-francisco-poop-problem-inequality-homelessnessin terms of why I see this as a dem thing...it simply has to do with how cities are managed. for example, pre guiliani, when NYC was run by dems for decades, the city was an absolute cesspool...all you'd see were cars that had been stripped up on blocks, the subways were horrific, times square was just drugs, strip bars, prostitution and killing and mugging...when he came in, and his repub team, they cleaned it up...it was truly miraculous...or actually, it was basic management and structure... It must be horribly embarrassing to be given the reigns of the city, and after decades of running the city, seeing it run into the ground...this is absolutely a dem problem...

I got news for you Creepy.
Back in the early 60's, SF had a Republican mayor and city council.
Guess what?
It also had tons of feces on the sidewalks in some neighborhoods.
Most of it came from out of state.

The only way I would see this as significant is if you can prove that other cities of the same size have no issues of the same nature. Where there are lots of people, there will always be drug problems. Now, what about those republican states with tiny towns and drug problems...Why do you ignore them? Freon

Clearly you will not get them to even admit the massive problems.
I happen to live in a very poor area of Maine. We absolutely have opioid problems. Mostly among the young people.
The drugs flow up here from blacks and Hispanics. The arrest data shows that. And the users tend to be younger white males. Mostly. I blame the users first as they create the demand. But both should be targets by police.
We have almost no crime though. They all know they will get shot breaking into a home here or robbing someone on the street.

Freon do you deny it's mostly Democrat controlled cities that have the biggest problems What I see is that the LARGEST cities have the biggest problems. I also see that the MAJORITY of the country lives in the largest cities. And that those cities tend to be Democrat run.
You see only the last piece, and therefore any conclusions you come to are correlative, and not necessary causative.
Understand, I am open to your theory, I just don't see the evidence supporting it. This is the difference between someone with my training, and someone with yours. You see one bit of a story, and assume that the entire story is based on that bit. I assume that the story has more dimensions, and wait to see them all before coming to any conclusions.

Then change the law and make it legal.
The wacky left loves to make rules and not enforce them.
