the only people saying they were Lying was people like Adam the shifty Liar Schiff James Comey and the worst of the bunch the Corrupt Democrats bought and paid for stooge Robert J Mueller the 3rd.
Well... Flynn said he'd lied. TWICE. To two different judges. Under oath. Told them he'd lied. I'm tellin' ya. Getting a White man to go to jail is TOUGH!
Greg
General Flynn was told by the corrupt Democrats bought and paid for stooge Robert J Mueller the 3rd that if he would plead guilty to Lying he would get a light sentence if he didn't cop to Lying he would spend the rest of his life in prison. Which deal would you of chosen Greg?

We should let everyone out of prisons that were put there by the FBI. Right-wing logic.

Dude, if they don't like the truth, they can throw you in jail for that too. Man, seeing the liberals fall all over themselves to praise the FBI and CIA is one of the strangest, most surreal things to come out of the Trump presidency. That should make you question what you thought about "liberals" in the first place. Liberals believe in the nation-state. That's part of what makes them liberals. Well, yes. And perhaps I should try drawing lines between leftists, liberals, Democrats, elected officials, civilians, etc. At any rate, until 2016, the general rule throughout my lifetime was that civilians who came from the left side of the spectrum would usually speak of the FBI and CIA with suspicion, if not outright disdain. That is no longer the case. Elected officials of course are a different story.

Generally, if I speak disdainly about an agency, it is because they are acting (in my name) in some way which I find distasteful. I expect cops and feds to hold to a higher standard, so I hold them to that higher standard. I would think that most concerned/actively engaged citizens (liberals included) would feel much the same way. I might argue that what you are claiming has been influenced by years of political pigeonholing, so much so that even some liberals now accept some form of your statement as generally true. Shame on them if they do.

Shame on them if they do. I think it's all very simple. Much of the right and left have switched rhetoric when it comes to the FBI and the CIA since 2016. This is because the FBI and CIA are currently seen as unfriendly to Trump and Trump has an "R" next to his name on the ballot. It's no more complicated than that. It should be, but it isn't, which is unfortunate. If we could quit mixing up our sense of identity with whatever political party we tend to favor, this kind of thing would stop happening. But as long as we cling to political tribalism, it is inevitable.

The only discount Flynn got was the plea agreement where if he agreed to plead guilty to this innocuous charge with a guarantee of no jail time they would stop destroying everything he had worked his whole life to build and the investigators wouldn't go after his son and destroy his life too. Like he had *any* reason to be a martyr for Donald Trump simply because he was caught up in the McCarthyism.
I do believe you are literally insane if you cannot see that.
And yes, Judges like Emmet Sullivan can suffer from TDS too. Queshank
Q, the feds had Flynn and his cockroach son under their thumbs for conspiracy kidnapping. Now, if Flynn hadn't been calling up Russian spies and then LYING about it, he wouldn't have been in court to begin with. He should have thought of what he'd spent his whole life building before he lied to the FBI.

The Mueller investigation was over with the redacted report in the public's hands in April of 2019.
The charges against Flynn were dismissed in May of 2020.

Q, Flynn plead guilty to lying to the FBI on December 1, 2017. Bill Barr was confirmed as AG on February 19, 2019. "During the hearing, Sullivan indicated he was offended by the suggestion in the sentencing memo submitted by Flynn's attorneys that the FBI had misled Flynn, as it created an appearance that Flynn wanted to accept a generous plea deal from prosecutors while also contending he had been entrapped. He asked several questions of Flynn's attorney, Robert Kelner, to determine if the defense was maintaining that the FBI had acted improperly in its investigation of Flynn, including whether he had been entrapped. Kelner responded, "No, your honor" to each question. Judge Sullivan also asked Flynn multiple questions under oath, including whether he wanted to withdraw his guilty plea, still accepted responsibility for his false statements and wanted to plead guilty, and was satisfied with his legal representation.[201] Flynn restated his guilty plea, and acknowledged to Sullivan he was aware that lying to federal investigators was a crime at the time of his initial FBI interview in January 2017. Sullivan then delayed sentencing." en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_FlynnJust saying Q. Greg

But as long as we cling to political tribalism, it is inevitable. That is certainly the conventionally accepted narrative, but I don't agree with it. I, and others like me, stand where we stand. When the narrative changes, our position doesn't change, but it does change relative to the narrative. If from your position that is not happening, perhaps you are looking at tribalism from within.
