So the fact I have a jar of bacon grease in my cupboard isn't as weird as some people think then right? I seriously thought my youngest sister was going to have a heart attack when I pulled the jar out to make biscuits
Are you using the bacon grease as a facial?

Now you know I LOVE bacon! I call my son "The Baconator".
Yeah, I'll take some. Forget those chitlins….
Greg
Greg, you fry up them chitlins nice and crisp, then mix them in the bread dough and bake. They are real good. Grandma taught me that one. I still bake Italian bread at times, sometimes with peperoni in them. Get the sandwich peperoni roll the dough out like for a pizza, lay the peperoni on it and roll it up nice and tight, and bake. Either one, real good with a red glass of wine.

Well Jasmine, I was wondering where you'd gone too. Glad you're back in stack. Of late, I've been working on my Harley. I still work but from home and I'm on a four day work week. Lots of free time. I built an elevated bed for my daughter and got a lot of things done I'd had on my "honeydo" list. My wife spilled a glass of water onto her laptop. Had to go out to the garage and salvage a eight year old laptop with her hard drive and memory. Got her back up in less than a day. Pays to be a packrat. Greg Wow. Mechanic skills. Carpentry skills. Tech skills. That is impressive! I bet you’re a great cook and gardener, too!

A-Mom: I’m so excited for you! What are the advantages of moving to Oklahoma? If it’s going to be a great opportunity, the “Sooner” you move, the better! And silly question: What happens if you get attached to one of your hogs? Isn’t it sad giving them up for slaughter? Advantages.. 1) For the first time since leaving home at the age of 18 I'll get to live around my Mom 2) Cost of living is way better than Oregon, housing and land is also very reasonable, we can purchase 20x what we have here and have something we dont have right now... The deed.. . And yes.. the "Sooner" we leave the better We always get attached to our feeder hogs, its hard not to. They are so friendly and we give them the best possible life, they have free access to all the organic food they want plus fresh milk and fruits and vegetables off our farm. They are given plenty of room to root and just be a pig, lay in the mud or seek shelter in their hog house. They are socialized early and love to get their tummies rubbed and ear scratches are the best. But they have a purpose. They feed our family and others. They were born and raised to go to freezer camp but for the 7 months they are alive they know not one day of hunger, fear or discomfort and the day their life ends, that moment is quick and as painless as we can make it. Of course its sad, to say its not would be cold and cruel. But as I said, they have a purpose and its up to us to make that purpose the best they would have known and be thankful for the life they give to feed us and others. Understood. Did you hear the joke about the legless pig? One day I saw this man at the park with a grown pig. It had no legs. Curiosity got the best of me, and I approached the man and said, “Excuse me, sir, I can’t help but notice your pig...” The man smiled and said, “Oh, yes! This is Wilbur! He is the greatest pig in the world! Why, two years ago, we had a big house fire, and Wilbur bravely ran into the house to save my infant daughter!” ”That is fantastic,” I said. “But...” ”Then, about six months ago, a pit bull was about to attack my wife, but Wilbur here chased it away!” ”Wow!” I replied. “But...” “And then three months ago, Wilbur’s squeals alerted us about a thief that was about to break into our house. He saved us!” ”Wonder!” I marveled. “But why does your pig have no legs?” The man beamed with pride. “Hey, a special pig like this, you don’t eat all at once!”

UPDATE: Well, as anticipated, today our governor and mayor imposed new restrictions that will go into effect tomorrow. They say they are using a “scalpel” instead of a “hammer,” but it sure seems like a big scalpel.
The 14-day quarantine for incoming tourists has been extended to at least Oct. 1, which is like taking a one-legged man and chopping his other leg off. There goes our biggest economic engine.
Now all social gatherings of more than five people are prohibited. Good luck with that.
Church services will still be allowed, but no singing or playing of blow-into instruments is allowed. That’s like telling the NBA, “You can still play games, but you can’t dribble the ball.” Gestapo much?
The good news is that restaurants will be allowed to remain open, as long as there is social distancing. Unfortunately, a lot of good restaurants have already shuttered their doors - some for good.

Welcome to the U.S.A. as other states are living it. Some of our restaurants have gone to curbside delivery only. They bring it out to you, put it in your car, and off you go.
If I may say to us all, if you get this service, please still tip your server. Just put the tip where the server is going to put the food and let him/her know that's the tip for his service. They still aren't getting a good wage and need the tips to buy stuff like the rest of us. Thanks.

Sorry to hear of that. I had been under the impression that Hawaii was relatively uninfected. But I guess not.
Does the restriction on "blow-into instruments" affect Honolulu hookers?

We *WERE* relatively uninfected, but locals started getting careless and were having mass beach parties. And clusters began showing up in our prison. UPDATE: After facing severe backlash, our governor has amended his restriction order. Singing during church services *WILL* be allowed, as long as everyone is socially distant.

They should be wearing masks in church services in addition to being six feet apart.
