Warn yourself after you fact check yourself as well. Last I checked April comes well before October. Obama declares H1N1 emergency October 26, 2009 8:47 a.m. EDTWashington (CNN) -- President Obama has declared a national emergency to deal with the "rapid increase in illness" from the H1N1 influenza virus. "The 2009 H1N1 pandemic continues to evolve. The rates of illness continue to rise rapidly within many communities across the nation, and the potential exists for the pandemic to overburden health care resources in some localities," Obama said in a statement. www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/10/24/h1n1.obama/index.html2009 H1N1 Pandemic Timeline

Where's your source for saying this? You can post as Fiddler or wear your cape as admin and I still make you look stupid. See above. CNN and the CDC... Golding has that certain allure, doesn't it. Obama Played Golf the Same Day His Administration Declared H1N1 a Public Health Emergency Can you imagine if President Trump played golf right after declaring a national emergency? Do you think if he had, the New York Times would have credited him with trying not to set off a panic? Obviously they wouldn’t. But Obama could do no wrong, even though at the end of the pandemic there were over 12,000 dead. As of March 15, the CDC reports there are 1,629 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the United States and 41 deaths. But Barack Obama went golfing to show we shouldn’t panic over a pandemic that caused an average of 1,000 deaths a month and was praised for it. President Trump declared a national emergency two days after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global pandemic. He was subsequently mocked by many for his announcement because he had previously urged the public not to panic. Obama didn’t declare H1N1 a national emergency until four months after WHO declared it a pandemic. A thousand Americans had died by that point. But, according to the New York Times, all was well because Obama could still play golf. pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/matt-margolis/2020/03/16/flashback-obama-played-golf-the-same-day-his-administration-declared-h1n1-a-public-health-emergency-n382601This user has been warned about propagating misinformation.

Now try getting it right. The timeline was the issue not the amount of people infected. You can't even follow an argument correctly.

For the reading impaired or the slightly deceptive on purpose.
Obama declares H1N1 emergency

I'm arguing with the two biggest goal post movers on LNF. No oe mentioned the amount of people or when it started. It was about when Obama declared a national emergency. Hence the time line. April and his actions in October. Nice spin.
Here's what admin called out from the PJ article which was corroborated by CNN and the CDC articles afterwards. That's teh point of contention.
Obama didn’t declare H1N1 a national emergency until four months after WHO declared it a pandemic. A thousand Americans had died by that point. But, according to the New York Times, all was well because Obama could still play golf.

"Obama didn’t declare H1N1 a national emergency until four months after WHO declared it a pandemic." The timeline is clear. Obama’s acting director of health and human services declared H1N1 a public health emergency on April 26, 2009. That means he was ahead of the WHO, who waited until June 11 to declare a pandemic.

If you think Obama waited till October 2009 to declare a national emergency, you need to take a closer look at the timeline.

Maybe stop using discredited sources. The facts have already been presented to you in this thread. This 4 month claim has no support. Its been debunked. If CNN is running on that narrative, they're wrong, too.
