Sorry, KSU's behavior vis-a-vis censorship and alteration of posts without notice or attribution is "good deeds"?
Really?

No, the good deed he is referencing is his choice to make KSU a mod.

I would like to think that Admin can speak for himself here.
And IMHO a better deed would be to revoke K-StU's moderator status in favor of a more neutral and less invasive person.

Agreed, he's not of suitable temperament or impartiality.

I agree he can speak for himself but as long as we are debating the meaning of his post, I believe my read is the obvious one given the context.

You tell us. Libertarianism is essentially conservative: support for unregulated capitalism, opposition to any and all government social programs, for example. It is also a naive philosophy that fails to take into account human flaws, and ignores the consequent growth of a wealth-based aristocracy that pollutes the American body politic.
the left has a lot to learn from libertarians about being better (and more consistent) leftists.
That statement is a good example of the smug and simplistic libertarian attitude that so annoys.
Especially since by your own admission Libertarians are anything but consistent. They have no unified message. It is why there will never be a viable Libertarian party until you guys become better and more consistent, as well as less smug and less simplistic.

I don't think it is smug or simplistic. I'm just being honest. I think the left is not left enough. There I said it! For the record, I am a libertarian, not a Libertarian. I wouldn't join that party if it was the last one on earth.

Yes, the libertarians are like Democrats and Republicans, liberals and conservatives: we are not of one mind, we disagree on this and that and we subdivide into our respective tribes. No one attacks libertarians like other libertarians.
With that said, broadly speaking, the libertarian message is liberal far more than it is conservative. We're anti-war, open borders, pro-choice, and pro-market. That's as liberal as it gets.

It's not the first time KSpU has gone in and altered posts for content he doesn't like.
I have NO idea why Fiddler made this conservative bitch a mod here. He needs to have his wings clipped.

Lol... I don't know why I helped the idiot. Next time I'll just forward the post to the appropriate authorities and let them handle it. Threatening the President is a huge deal.

Justin Amash is the real libertarian darling. Paul is too far Trump's ass, and far too conservative. He doesn't identify has a libertarian. His father is the one with the link to the libertarians and I would argue his involvement has been a net negative. He opened the door to the conspiracy theorists, anti-semites, racists and misanthropes who seem to now be taking up so much oxygen in the liberty space. Ron Paul helped pave the libertarian-to-alt-right pipeline. I say that as someone who was "brought into the movement" by him and his crew, and as someone who spent more than a decade digesting and defending right-wing libertarianism. Don't let my mistakes cloud your judgement of libertarians. The Ron Paul/ Lew Rockwell/ Mises Institute crowd does not own libertarianism. In reality, there are far better (more reasonable, more scientific, more inclusive) expounders of the philosophy.

He lamented that he wished it was the other Trump. That fits the second example listed in Wikipedia's explanation. It has been ruled, in the past, that wishing the President was dead is the same as a public plea for him to die. That is a call to incite murder and can be punished as a felony. I'm not saying it would have happened, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

I see a big difference between wishing nature took someone sooner, through illness or natural causes, and suggesting that someone ought to be killed. But that's just me.
