Yes. Just not getting it. Do you understand that clue #1 is for a Spanish language movie? That clue #2 is about a cow even more startling than the cow in oh brother where art thou? And that #5 is about the mans friend inviting the man over for dinner to meet his S-i-L? I never expected to catch so much grief as I have from playing this game.

Why didn't you just say, "This movie is in Spanish"?

I hadn't planned on quitting. I'm still waiting for guesses to my great clues.

#11 - there's blood sausage and testicles for dinner tonight
#12 - the policeman gets a headache

As these 2 seem to be causing problems:
#2 revisited - this clue references the event which is the impetus of the story.
#5 revisited - used to move the story along. On its own this information would not be useful in guessing the movie, but would be useful in confirming a guess based on other clues
Any all all are welcome to offer constructive advice about clue composition and usefulness. I'm listening.

I find that your clues possess a certain naive charm, and I wouldn't change a word. Especially your clues in explanation of previous clues. I'm not so sure. I thought that both were reasonably clear as written, but, for some reason that I still don't get, were deemed inappropriate. #2 although hard to read because of dialect, is a straightforward statement - this movie's cow is way crazier than a Cohen bros cow on a cottonhouse roof. #5 - required comparing the actual song to my altered version to find the clue in the words that I added. I don't see the harm.

I think that I am at #13. #13 - still no uncle, but the home for one night only, becomes one week only, becomes until we find your uncle #14 - take-out is better than the blood sausage

Clue #15 - Roberto says that Ro-po-po is close enough.
Aside #1 - I discovered this movie while searching for a movie in this movie contest.
