Where we are most conservative, we are also the most poor. Those big cities and their majority liberal populations are what pay for YOUR security. You think Alabama pays for it? Bunch of moochers. Where is the personal responsibility of these poor conservatives in footing the bill for all the things they complain so much about? Freon

Seems the less educated you are . . . .  The more likely you'll be a Conservative .. That you'll be racist ...
That you'll suffer from Religion ..  And you'll be poorer ...  Now it's hard to say which one might lead to the other but it's clear that Conservatism, Racism, Ignorance, Poor Wages and Religion go hand in hand .. So how do these unfortunate facts make these people feel??  So why do these people keep voting against their best interests.. ?

Wow, thanks for compiling this.
So we, the most educated in the nation, are who they consider to be the morons.
I would LOVE to see them go through the curriculum I did. I doubt they would even survive the first quarter.

having grown up in a very liberal state - rhode island...and spending a great deal of time in mass twice, college and later in live living there...I can say without a doubt, new england are some of the whitest, college educated, book smart people....incredibly safe, radically liberal....but also the most arrogant...its hard to describe but new englanders view the rest of the us a stupid...the south are red necks, the west coast wacky, and everyone else the fly overs...and anyone who works with their hands uneducated...
its not until I traveled a great deal for work while living in CA and later florda, that I realized what arrogan self absorbed pricks new englanders can be...and I'm from there...thick of the kennedys...we love blacks and wind power...just not anywhere near us...
its very homogenous, and you can still leave your doors unlocked in many places...its easy to be a theoretical liberal...new englanders are like a bunch of ivory tower college professors..
its often said a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged...sadly, its true...leaving to CA, and getting mugged a few times i my first few weeks in los angeles...I realized how awful some people are...

They all perform pretty well on some of your other indicators. This is mainly about the Deep South, i take it?
