Greg asked me a question that was off topic in another thread, so I brought the question here to avoid derailing the other thread.  Do you find this image.... disturbing? Greg Well, Greg, on an individual basis I don't see a problem with it. The problem arises if it becomes a general trend. The reason is that if the races are different in innate intelligence, widespread mixing will result in a population intelligence distribution that is in between the distributions of the higher and lower races. A problem with that is that the upper tail of the higher race's distribution will be brought down. That is, there will not be as many supersmart people. Generally it is the supersmart people who create inventions. So if we reduce the number of supersmart people through race mixing, we will slow the development of new inventions and the progress of mankind. People are free to mate as they like, but they should be informed about the potential harm they are causing to mankind by race-mixing, and this is especially true if there are people and organizations actively trying to persuade people to race-mix. Informing people about the problems this could cause for mankind would simply be the other side of the issue, which people should be informed about when making decisions. |

Consider that a measure of genius is winning Nobel Prizes in science. Almost all prize winners have been white. We need to protect our geniuses. If we flood that gene pool with a lot of non-prize winning DNA, we suffer as a species in the future due to lack of geniuses and the things they come up with. Everybody of all races should want to avoid that. We all benefit from the geniuses. They must be protected. |
