I remember hearing that classic phrase, "So round, so firm, so fully packed" in TV and radio advertisements when I was a kid, before cigarette ads were banned on broadcast media.
And, of course, it was such a popular phrase that country singer Merle Travis borrowed it...

Of course there were the ads that tried to convince people that cigarettes were actually healthful (!).
