Well, I found it by yahoogling "movie quotes." So it's apparently one that many noticed.
I will get a bone and toss it.
the movie is a modern version of an old story. and here's a longer quote:

Nope. This movie must really be a sleeper. They're all pretty much sleepers to me, but I thought you and Greg were kind of cinephiles, which is not a bad thing at all.
it's a modern version of an old fairy tale. the fairy tale is rags to riches then quickly back to rags and then not so quickly back to riches and then happily ever after.
there may be an article of footwear involved in the final trip to riches.

Cinderella? CLOSE ENOUGH!!!! The movie is A Cinderella Story. Which I think I have actually seen part of now that I think on it. The crowd roars with delight at this seminal victory (seminal has two definitions, one will know which applies in this case) and does the wave as oombabeau does a victory lap, high fiving the adoring fans who stick their hands out for such, screaming with delight at their hero! Now oombabeau gets to pick a quote. as stated previously, all the prizes are on ships in the LA harbor. |
