Greg no idea on the name, no idea on what movies the Duke and Grandpa McCoy co-starred in, but it sounds like it MIGHT be that movie where John Wayne is a burned out, one-eyed ex-lawman or some such that tangles with a character played by the lady who starred with Humphrey Bogart in African Queen whose name escapes me at the moment. I would look that up but it's too much trouble. |

I just had an epiphany. I kind of hate it when that happens, too. At my age they often cause permanent damage.
I had this vague memory of Dino and Ricky running from defillade to defillade shooting at bad guys. Or maybe it was Duke and Ricky. I feel sure Ricky was one of them and Amos McCoy wasn't.

Souns like Jimmy Cagney or Humphrey Bogart, and I finally remember the name of the lady in African Queen. Katherine Hepburn. And she had a temper.
I'll go with African Queen. I will not use a lifeline.
And even if it's not African Queen, that was a really good movie and it deserves a plug.
After that bone, now I think maybe it's the Willam Holden flick where he plays that battle hardened Marine and a lady actress plays a nun who is taking care of him.
Only now I think it was Richard Widmark.
