What great ads.
Has there ever been a time in our history when the party of the president produced ads AGAINST his incumbency?

Greg Whoa!! Those are crazy powerful too.
Prior to Trump, I never doubted the loyalty of a president. Wouldn't even occur to me. Baby Bush, for example, made me cringe with the stupidity that came out of his mouth, but I never once questioned whether he had our best interests, as a nation, at heart. But Trump? He devoutly prays to the god of himself, and is proud of it. He self-worships, has convinced a chunk of the nation to do so as well, and would sell us out in an instant to protect that devotion.

those of us who have spent a degree of time around gov't know just how corrupt it is - on both sides...lifelong politicians, earning public servant wages, all multimillionaires...
trump knows this - you had scum like mccain trying to sabotage him...
look, getting elected is the ticket...you think hillary spent 30 mil of her own money for a senate seat because of the pay...no, she gets to set up a canadian foundation and funnel hundreds of millions from unknown donors to support her causes...with no checks and balances...
no one in politics wants the party to end...
read charlie wilsons war - dem from taxes - or hill rat - and the authors explain in great detail just how corrupt the system is....

I mean all governments, any type, anywhere, at any time in history.
There is ALWAYS corruption. What government are you comparing us to that is so much better?
Our defense against corruption is the press, which is why Trump hates it so thoroughly.
If you thought Trump would get rid of corruption, you are MASSIVELY naive. I mean, like, imbecilic level. Sorry man, but you got suckered. Freon

I think he has certainly raised the dialog about corruption...especially in the media...or things like biden and his son were involved in...heck, even the MSM was in overdrive explaining to all of us that what biden and his son were doing is common and accepted in DC, no matter how much the rest of us think it stinks...we should all be disgusted by the corruption...
I agree with you, the larger and more centralized the gov't, the more corruption that tends to exist...the more money gov't controls, and the more "services" gov't provides, the more it is subject to corruption....lobbyists, people who work in gov't...all getting their hands on money and adding little to no value but special interests.

What historical evidence makes you believe it is government size, centralization, and services that make a government more corrupt.
I never made that statement, so not sure why you would think I agree with it.
I see no correlation between the two, nor any consistency going back in time to any government.
What past government makes you believe this is the case? Freon

The Lincoln project is a group of Liberals Parading as conservative Republicans funded by none other than George Soros. Notice they only go after Republicans? This kind of behavior is nothing new we've had Liberals Disguised as Republicans forever Traitor John McCain Mittens Romney are just a couple that come to mind.

Wow, I didn't realize there were so many republicans against Trump. This one is from RVAT. I have deep respect for Trump supporters who can finally acknowledge they got duped. You can't heal a wound that you won't admit exists. www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0YZEBHsiD0

Jaysus. that's powerful stuff. Greg It is. I know people say that they have no problem when a president plays golf because they need to unwind or whatever. But when you consider how much time this asshat spends golfing, tweeting, flying around to fundraise, giving his "impromptu " campaign speeches etc. as opposed to doing whatever he can to save American lives as well as the economy one has to wonder how his approval rating is as high as it is.

I hear you, but I think we need to ask ourselves what Trump actually is.
I think there are two possibilities.
1. Trump is a movement, where he represents a majority of the population who think our country should be white, christian, and conservative.
or
2. Trump was a statement of protest, where he represents a minority population who think they have been ignored by our progressive country, and wanted change, ANY change, and someone not Hillary Clinton.
I think that #2 is the more likely, and I think the attitude of a good chunk of his supporters, the ones we are seeing making those videos, was, 'what do we have to lose'.
And now they know. And it turns out he was a MUCH higher price than they were willing to pay.
So that is why I respect those who see that they made a huge error, are acknowledging it, and are now doing something about it. This is the last opportunity for them to have any honor and respect when this is all said and done. I think anyone who still sides with Trump, whether a citizen or a politician, will forever be shamed.

I went to votevets.org just to see what they are and discovered that lo and behold, they are a progressive group.
Here is something from the "About", which describes the organization.
"VoteVets.org continues to focus on matters including, but not limited to, foreign policy, energy security, veterans’ unemployment, and opening military service to life-long Americans born to undocumented immigrants, as well as continued investment in care for veterans. More often than not, Veterans have a stake in the top issues of the day, and VoteVets.org is committed to getting their voices heard on these issues. For that reason, VoteVets.org has and will continue to work with all progressive allies representing labor, immigration, gay and lesbian rights, and environmentalists, when their issues coincide with the needs of troops and veterans. "
Did you note that they work with "all progressive allies" and don't mention any non-progressive organizations with which they work.
