Well, Admin, I'm struggling when I want to split up quoted text and reply to each piece separately. On the old LNF for example, I might quote one or two sentences and reply to that point, then quote the next paragraph and reply, etc.
Haven't figured out how best to do that here. Any pointers? Thanks.

On the old LNF for example, I might quote one or two sentences and reply to that point, then quote the next paragraph and reply, etc. Yes, if you post under BBCode instead of Preview (at the bottom of the post you are composing), you can do exactly what you did on the previous site. You can then hit "Preview" to see if it worked. I learned it from Freon. |

I use MFA's method. The BBCode view is a bit more intuitive.
But I agree that it's not as user friendly as it could be.
I'll look into other themes/settings that may be more straight forward.

Sure .. It's a bit clunky but hosting is free (ad driven) and it was quick to set up . ...
I prefer phpBB but then there's paying for hosting and phpBB would require a bit more 'managing'.
There is a Paid feature that eliminates ads but so far no one's complaining about them .. much ..

Oh, since I'm a lieutenant nerd bucking for major, not complaining.
But it is often a challenge trying to order posts just so... which may account for all the "edit" notes at the bottom of posts. We'll get the hang of it before somebody pulls the plug. Maybe.
