Just picked (last week) up a camp chef two burner stove and also the griddle top that goes with it. Kind of pricey but the quality is outstanding and very versatile. The griddle top alone must weight 30 pounds.
You can transport us fairly easy but also great for fixed use. Highly recommend if ur into grilling and need a griddle / burner to go alongside a grill.

Nice.. I like the looks of that..
I have a portable propane grill made by Nexgrill. Not too pricey.. under $300..
I retired a Kitchen-Aid when I bought a Blaze (cast stainless steel burners.. oooooouu ).. I had a local fab shop make a griddle for the old Kitchen-Aid to replace the grill top. Works great. Had to replace the regulator with one I could adjust low enough. With the griddle being solid heat builds up fast .
Between the grill, griddle, smoker, Green Egg and fryer and assorted unitaskers my wife gives me crap (light-hearted )about my outdoor kitchen costing more than the house kitchen .. lol ..
Sounds like you love to cook too..

Nice fiddler - funny, the cover I bought for it is a nexgrill - what I bought looks very similar to what you have.
We are in the process of relocating, and now I have my weber bbq grill, a weber gas grill and now this camp chef, which although it can be portable, it functions well as a fixture (but would be easy to take tailgaiting if that came up)...I like that it can be used with burners, or throw the griddle on top...
also, with my weber bbq, I learned how to set the coals/hardwood up as a snake, so I can get it going in the am, leave it smoking at 225-250 for 6 hours, and come back and everything is perfectly smoked...but that green egg you have is sweet....
when we relocate, I plan to build out a bobby flay type backyard setup...Also on the today show it looks like al roker has a nice backyard bbq setup...I'd like to build a brick pizza ofen too...my brother in law has one, and I even made a jambalaya in it...very versatile..
yes, I love to cook, so does my wife...it really makes you much more critical of restaurants, especially meat cuts...because you can do it at home so much better.

Cool ..
This fall I'd like to put a roof over everything à la Bobby Flay. And I saw the "charcoal snake" setup you're talking about but haven't tried that yet.. Man that would have been great to know back in the day.
I use the Green egg for shoulders/butts/brisket and an Oklahoma Joe offset smoker for ribs .. Pecan is my "go to" wood for pig.. a little milder than Hickory. Oak for salmon..
Sounds like you can throw down ..
Do you have a good butcher you go to? I found a butcher shop that sells meat from free range Berkshire pigs .. Not organic.. I'm not really into that but the pigs are well tended. Delicious..

Here in maine we have a couple guys that are "cutters" for deer, moose, but I've always done it myself...when I lived in fla we had a great butcher...when we'd go hog hunting, they are so lean, the meat is very red, and you have to either brine it for a few days before smoking it....or more often than not, we'd bring the shoulders to the butcher, and he'd make all sorts of smoked sausages and brats by combining your meat, with fat from other meats...it was great....
there is one meat place/butcher not far, when I want a really good cut, brisket, we go there...

A few years ago (four? five? dunno!) I picked up a Camp Chef. It's got the two burners plus the aluminum griddle. Also an insulated oven underneath. Still new in box, never even opened it yet. I had this idea I would stick it in the Chevy van and go to one of my favorite national parks and serve hors d'oeuvres to the raccoons. Or something. Probably should unpack it, hook it up to a propane bottle and see if it's worth carting along. The box suggests it could be used for casseroles.
Let's vote.
