As trump's poll numbers continue to slide, Republicans are starting to look like rats jumping off the ship. At what point is the mass exodus? I'm guessing when his approval ratings hit about 36%.

McConnell is seeing the writing on the wall and is realizing the Senate is in jeopardy.
Graham just may go down with the ship.

Collins, McSally, Tillis, Leofler all danced with the devil and are hiring movers.

Is Biden going to cancel the debates?
Judging by Trump's recent interview with Chris Wallace, Biden should be excited to debate that buffoon.

Trump showed in 2016 that he is not a good 1-on-1 debater. Luckily for him, Hillary showed the same thing about herself. When Biden is at his peak, he shows ten times the charisma either of those two have, but we haven’t really seen him in a 1-on-1 outside of the VPOTUS debates, which nobody really pays attention to. My guess is Biden will outperform Trump at the debates because Trump is spectacularly bad at it and, as I said, Biden has charm that Trump lacks. But if Biden stumbles or looks confused, Trump will pounce on it and he won’t let go. It would be interesting to go back and watch Biden’s VPOTUS debates and see how he did. Well, “interesting” might be a bit strong, but you know what I mean.

Is Biden going to cancel the debates? At this point, tRump needs them a hell of a lot more than Biden. Of course, the way trump is trying to characterize him all Biden needs to do is show up, remember his name and not drool for a win.

Trump = Jimmy Carter. Greg I think both men would disagree strongly.

It is my suspicion that, if elected, Biden won’t be nearly as leftist as a lot of people think he will be. Right now he is simply caving in to the leftist nuts to get their vote.
Not gonna take any chances, though.
Again, I have zero respect for Biden simply because he is a pathetically weak human being. The man absolutely has no backbone.

Trump = Jimmy Carter. Greg I think both men would disagree strongly. Well, both men won the presidency while they ran as Washington outsiders.
And both likely will be one term presidents.
However I would agree that the similarity ends there. Carter is a very intelligent, empathetic, and moral man, who is willing to admit his human weaknesses.

Yep, Carter’s a decent man. Heck, I’d like to meet him and talk to him. Trump...well, that’s a different story.

Carter is a decent man but, along with an array of other presidents, tends to prove that being a businessman doesn’t mean you’ll make a good effective president.

A good president does what is best for his country, not necessarily what is best for himself, his family, his business. Some of our greatest presidents were failed businessmen. Truman, for example.
Jimmy Carter's election wasn't about his success at farming peanuts. It was more about his character, which stood in stark contrast to the twisted and cynical character of Nixon, whose legacy tainted Ford's attenuated single term. That Carter was from the South but could appearl to the North didn't hurt him in the electoral college, either. Carter offered hope and a healing process from the dim days of Watergate, the Vietnam debacle, and unhinged midnight rambles. Carter never had to assure the nation "I am not a crook."
Trump can't even bring himself to say those words.

I can't speak for Greg, but I surmise he meant this only in the sense that both are single term presidents.

Yes, probably. But sometimes my sense of while privilege overwhelms me, and I feel an irresistible urge to chide my African American.
