Not all considered him a hero back then Which made him even more the hero. How dare he break Babe Ruth's record. Goes to show, we let them play and they go changing things. Kinda special that a Mobile boy hit his record breaking home run in the South. |

Now, try to imagine the vision, timing and strength it takes to crush a 5 ounce ball less than 3 inches in diameter over 475 feet. Still thé Guy looks like a couch potato to me. Imo, the whole point of sports is to keep you in great physical shape. When it fails that, it becomes a form of entertainment and not much else. |

Is the traumatic brain injury from football (real and Europe style), boxing, rugby and other head banging sports of any concern to you? Today's baseball players are extremely fit.
