Yea or Nay?
Old fashioned bathroom sinks with separate hot and cold faucets?
Or more modern sinks with a single spout that can mix both hot and cold?

I no longer have faucets in the house, only the mixing thing. It's been that way for years.

It's actually been many years since I have encountered the separate faucet sinks. I confess I've never seen the logic behind separate hot and colt faucets, especially in a bath where one usually wants to adjust the water temp for washing one's hands and face. I suppose the idea with the separate faucets is that you fill the sink with water at the temp you desire, and then scoop that up for washing whatever. Seems rather time consuming and awkward.
Usually I'd run across the separate faucet setups in low rent properties. And also at a hotel in Ireland. Does anyone actually prefer them to the mixing type?

We could have separate, but not based on water temp

I'm a bit afraid to ask: What would be the reason then for separate bathroom sink faucets, aside from temp?

lol, Im joking. I wanted to see what would be said. We could separate bathrooms. Men, Woman, and Other. Other meaning confused men. On serious note, I don't see a reason to have separate faucets. One faucet means you can have the right temp you want. How hot or cold would they be separate?

Well, as far as I can tell, it's older sinks that have separate hot/cold faucets. Like really old. I have run across them in older housing, and they just seem so awkward. I suppose the separate faucets were cheaper, since they do not require a more complicated T connection to mix the hot and cold.
