When are you going to stop believing in the accuracy of any poll? mr crepe and I do not answer any polls, and we get called a lot. We just don't answer the phone if it's from someone we don't know. For one thing, it's no one's business if I don't want to tell them. A few years ago I used to respond to them, but I lied with most of my responses.
Right now our phone is ringing and we're not answering. It's from the NRA. Hmmmm. That's weird. I love caller id!

If this was just one poll, I'd agree it's probably not a good idea to hang a hat upon.
But take a gander at Electoral-vote.com. It takes a fairly rigorous approach to polling, and takes into account the latest polls in each state for both the executive and legislative contests.
Will anti-social hermits like you skew some polls? Perhaps. But at least those who do respond can give us a sense of how the voting in November is likely to go.

While everyone knows that a poll is just a measure at a particular time and the only poll that counts is November 2, it is of some comfort to see indications that trump is so detested that Russian interference is going to be rendered moot.

But.... but.... 2016.... Greg Yeah, 2016 and none of the media (except maybe Fox) had Trump winning. Trump is a bully, and he was castigated as such incessantly by the left. But it was the right voters that were bullied into silence in the polls; and they expressed their opinion at the ballot box. I see Trump winning again. Mostly because the best the Democrats can put forward is Biden. Seems to me any number of other candidates could beat Trump. Just like in 2016 when it was Clinton. |

It has 52 or 53 Senate seats to the dems also. Georgia, Arizona, Iowa, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio all in play and trending blue. Keep it up! Make the last four years a pimple on the ass of history! |
