Dustin Johnson.
Although I'll continue to root for Rory and Phil.
Eldrick's 10 on 12 was Keaton quality priceless.
Nicklaus is dead to me.

Big dude. Like 6-1/2 feet tall. Needed a custom made extra large winner's jacket.
But what about Tiger?
Chopped liver?

PS-I've been to Augusta. For a scientific conference. I remember it was very green. But the conference was in a wooded area, not at the golf course. The bus stop from the airport was very green. I think I stayed in Atlanta. And rented a car to drive to Savannah and Tybee Beach for an afternoon. It was OK. Kind of sleepy.

It was my impression at the time, that the highway I took to Savannah was along the same path that Sherman took on his "March to the Sea". It might have been my imagination, but it did seem sort of desolate.

Give them credit. Plantations die hard.

Along the way, in some podunk little town on the two lane "highway", I spied the spitting image of Boss Hogg doing an about face by a patrol car as I passed by at the suddenly reduced speed limit (speed trap)... I did not stop at the General Store to get an ice cold refreshment.
Good times.
I also stuck a confederate flag license plate I picked up in the rear window of the rental car. At some point on the Georgia highway, a black dude passed me at high speed on the road. I wondered if that had anything to do with the flag display. Back home I stuck it on my pickup truck rear window, thinking it was just old-timey. A black friend of mine took me aside at the local hangout, and let me know, very politely, how offensive he found it. I took it off and threw it in the trash. Where it belonged. Where anything that celebrates the Confederacy belongs.

Speaking of golf, have any of you watched women's golf lately?
It's mildly erotic.

Perhaps it's the rumored L-factor.
Personally I find golf a colossal bore.
But then I've never watched women's golf, at least that I can recall.
Women's volleyball is fun to watch.

Oddly, so is women's curling. Or maybe not oddly at all.

Is there a women's curling channel you can recommend?

Perhaps it was Ludowici, a town where some of Dead Harry's family still reside.

Lee Trevino. When I was growing up, he was the COOLEST Mexican American I'd ever seen (not withstanding Ricardo Montalban).

Oh, I dunno. My next door neighbor Gus (who bought the house off the old Portuguese family a couple of years ago) is a pretty cool Mexican. The other day we were talking about my travels through Mexico and Guatemala, and he let me know he was born in Mexico City, but had never been much further south. I don't know at what age he emigrated to the USA. He must have been pretty young, because his English is completely unaccented. Good guy, even if it seems like there's non-stop construction noise over there.

You should go back to Mexico or Guatemala and bring me back some wild caught cichlids.

Well, I never caught any fish in either land, although I did bring my fishing gear. I sent it back halfway through the journey; my "friends" jettisoned all my lures on their way back. My mistake; I should have kept them with me. The lures, that is. Oh well.
Besides, wild caught fish will probably infect domesticated fish with wild diseases and parasites.
Perhaps you should put in an order at your local aquarium shop?

I swear, Lee Trevino was so cool, they called him "Super Mex" and he didn't give a damn... as long as they paid him. That sumbitch was COOL. Golfing in those polyester pants.. Greg

Try as I might, I can't quite bring myself to regard golf as a sport.
It's more of an act.
