That's...not how the word "real" works.

That's like saying Mr. Whipple (Charmin) was a real person whose name was Dick Wilson, or Mother Nature (Chiffon Margarine) was a real person whose name was Dena Dietrich.

Really? I view the black person in a positive light and that makes me racist? Now that is hilarious. 

So is Betty Crocker and Little Debby and Wendy. What's your point? It isn't used because it creates a negative image for the company. It is used because it attracts people to the product. No one has a negative view of Aunt Jemima. Aunt Jemima is used because she conjures up the image of someone that can bake. If you want to make the case that only white women should be used for that role, then maybe you should take a good long look at your views. 

I'm all for substituting stick figures instead of images of people on products. I guess I was not race-conscious enough to consider that Uncle Ben's and Aunt Jemima were victimized people of color that were chosen to represent admired and respected brands in America. Race consciousness and victimhood are not attributes with which we are born---in my opinion, they must be taught...like racism.

Kellogg's needs to update their Rice Krispies cereal characters' names and wardrobes from Snap! Crackle! and Pop! to something more along the lines of Snoop! Crack! and Puff Diddy where they wear hoodies, pants hanging around their glutes, adorned with sunglasses and gold chains, gold teeth, tattoos, etc. The cereal might even have miniature marshmallow crack pipes, rings, 9mm guns, and other mementos indicative of today's modern culture. Yes, it's time to demand change.

Its hard to take these white-wing crocodile tears seriously.

If you don't see how plantation style imagery is offensive, you're never going to get BLM. Better to turn off cable news, log off the internet and watch some Bonanaza.
