"Faith" is exactly dependence on or belief in something unprovable that provides the foundation for your thoughts and actions. I believe I already clarified the necessary distinction between the erroneous Enlightenment caricature of faith and biblical faith. I guess...sorry you missed that? |

This is not a question of semantics. If someone "claims" that Santa does not exist, I hope you're not going to use your "hey, you do have unprovable axioms in your belief system" to prove him wrong or he most likely will laugh in your face. What you don't get (or pretend not to) is that I see you coming a mile away. The fact is that if you examine all the "civilizations" since the invention of the wheel, until now. They have all with maybe a microscopic number of exceptions been plagued by the "religious class", whatever those are they always seem to absorb a big chunk of the goods and services for free, without doing anything valuable in return. They're like a cancer on society, often they associate with the so called secular power to oppress the masses and maintain social inertia. Let's start there: Do you deny that? |
