Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass appeared on CNN to take aim at President Trump for using the military to curb crime in Washington, DC. During the segment, Bass claimed that crime in her city is down. However, there are ongoing reports of robberies and violent crime in Los Angeles, not to mention the rioting that happened when ICE conducted raids.
According to Bass, the military cannot be used based on feelings, despite the fact she comes from a party often accused of governing by feelings. Bass says that you can’t use the military based on people’s feelings.
