Thanks. I have no idea what either designation means but I'll hit one of them and see what happens when I want to quote something. Seriously, I do appreciate your help. It's just that I occasionally get stuck in the cursive v print style of communication. Don't tell anybody, but my handwriting was to die for. I just stumble on with this 'newfangled means of communication.

Trump being dishonest again? Must be another day that ends in "day". I get that it's dishonest. But my astonishment over the incompetence vastly overshadows my reaction to the dishonesty. I mean... Ok, Trump himself probably had little to do with the actual ad, but how does a company make an ad like this in 2020 and think they won't get busted for using stock footage? I get that it's cheaper than putting an ad out for Trump supporters to audition for a video...but certainly that would have been more effective than making a video you had to toss in the trash right after it aired. And the thing is, I'm competent enough with video editing software and stock footage websites to make this ad and I'm certainly no professional. Whatever Trump2020 paid for this, it was too much. Competent people are seldom "yes men" .. Throughout his administration Trump has fired anyone that failed to tell him what he wanted to hear. Dozens of people gone.. Each replacement often less competent than his predecessor. It's no surprise that at this point in his term there is no one left that can function at a professional level.. |

I'm not surprised it's incompetency -- who's going to try to do a bang up job for Trump when they know they're probably not going to get paid? He's one of those clients you're going to put as little effort into as possible because you know there's a very high chance you're gonna get f'd either way.

So, if Trump had had an ad made during the Rona, wouldn't the left be attacking him for putting their lives at risk? This was a safe AND LEGAL way to make a political ad that wasn't an attack ad. The attacks and stupidity from the left be damned. They'll be stupid all day every day any way.
