Just curious, Archie. To what Camorra clan do you belong? Rinaldi? Mazzarella? Licciardi? Contini? Mallardo? Or some other group of conniving crooks from the Naples area?
Just curious.

Fortunately the clock is ticking on the few months remaining in the Trump presidency.
Tik-tok, indeed.

Ain't it fun watching the coward run, rather than simply admitting he was wrong.

What a piece of work. Those Republicans who uneasily voted for Trump in 2016: this in what Trump thinks of his voters. He thinks that the Confederate flag, statues and noose stories will rile you up and get you to the polls. Is this really what Republicanism is going to be about in the 21st century? Maestro, read DDE's campaign platform. Then think about the GOP of today. Actually, think about the entire country. WTF went wrong? Part of it is the nature of the two-party system. In theory, structuring a system so that there is a duopoly on political parties is supposed to temper the extremes. Extremist parties simply can’t gain any headway against the two more centrist superpowers. However, that also makes each of the superpowers susceptible to takeover by a populist when enough of the base gets fed up with not having a viable outlet for their frustration. Trump saw this opportunity and pounced. The Democratic Party isn’t quite there yet, but the idea that it couldn’t happen there is very much one rooted in denial, especially if Biden wins and no progress is made on some of the more hot-button issues dear to the Democrat base. And, to be honest, I don’t see much in Biden’s history to suggest that he’s interested in focusing on those kinds of issues.

Sorta agreeing with Maestro and not so much with the big .Oo The Platform looks pretty standard bs to me. Commies are bad, spend lots of people and money starting wars to prove that our economic system is better than theirs Ike's administration was even worse than the Platform Huge build-up of military industrial complex to an unstoppable level before some mealy mouthed mumbo-jumbo in his farewell address about the need not to do as he did. The overthrow of democracy in Iran was all ike. Just try to imagine a world where we encouraged and helped shape democracy in Iran. Yeah, this defines Ike. Actually the same in Vietnam - since that war was over and under international treaty when ike got involved to cancel the treaty and restart the war. Creation of the Interstate highway system to be paid for mostly by autos while worn out by big trucks hauling goods that ultimately destroyed small businesses in favor of huge factories - which has moved on now to destroying nearly all American manufacturing - was another huge mistake. Ike, our worst president before trump The republicann party, the worst for over a hundred years. www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/republican-party-platform-1956

And, to be honest, I don’t see much in Biden’s history to suggest that he’s interested in focusing on those kinds of issues. One unintended result is that with an increased divide between the parties, in a duopoly both parties can push to extremes, moving farther and farther away from each other. On a bit of a tangent, I'm not sure what has happened to the system such that in the last election, out of 360 million people, the two candidates put to the vote were Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton. And this year it looks like it's going to be Donald Trump and Joe Biden. I am very confident that there are better options, but somehow these are the last ones standing after the process is complete. Something's wrong with that process...

Hmmm...I've never heard that perspective before. Do you think the States would be better without Interstates? Or is it the payment of it that is your beef? Do you think we would ultimately be better off without them? For example, would small business really take care of all of our needs and wants?
