Frankly I delight in normal citizens benefiting from the same immunity government officials have been benefiting from for decades.
James Clapper and John Brennan both also perjured themselves before Congress. Where's their 3 years in prison? Were they pardoned before they spent a day in prison? Or did they have other benefits at their disposal by virtue of their being connected "made" men?
I cheer this clemency and hope it results in a full pardon after the election.

Yeah, there's that...Trump has just been the most obvious since Clinton. His lack of even trying to hide it also separates him.
Our "system" also did nothing to hide their ambivalence and lack of concern towards people "in the club" doing all of the things that Trump's 'lackeys' are being hounded over. Nancy Pelosi is talking about Trump's "naked corruption" after spending years ignoring said naked corruption as long as it was one of HER lackeys.
I'm not just looking as far back as Clinton. I'm looking at members of the Obama administration ... actual government employees ... blatantly lying to Congress and saying "So what?" when they're busted. And having that be where it ended. No need for a pardon if nobody bothers to even press charges. Which is more corrupt?
Before the 2016 election I compared Trump to a sole proprietor and the "establishment" parties/government to a franchise.
Personally I like it and cheer it when the owner of Bob's Spatulas gets to play by the same rules as Walmart. Without Bob, Bob's Spatulas likely doesn't exist. But you can plug any moron in as CEO of Walmart and benefit from that level of influence and power.
And which is more dangerous and more disconcerting? Bob's Spatulas? Or Walmart?

How many impeachment attempts do you want? That's untrue. trumP was impeached for only a couple of his crimes vs. humanity. He was found guilty. The GOP Senate, or most of them anyway, just decided that they were fine with an impeached criminal in the previously All White House, and the decay continued. |

Which of the criminals Obama/Clinton pardoned/commuted were very close associates/supporters of theirs and never served even a day of their sentence after being convicted? Because, in Trump's case, that would apply to both Roger Stone and Joe Arpaio.
