Rage tweets and delusional paranoid rants on their way.

Nah!
I was watching some of these videos yesterday. Some are well done, from a political standpoint. The fact that they come from Republicans gives them a particular bite. But...I do have to make one correction to the article. They aren’t “addressing Trump in the first person.” I’m not sure how that would even work. They’re addressing him directly, which uses the second person.

I might not have said anything if it were a poster...maybe. But I hold reporters (and their editors) to a higher standard and this isn’t so much a grammar error of usage as it is a factual error about language. It’s not like writing “a apple.” It’s like calling “to run” a noun. People who write for a living should probably get that kind of thing right in their published works.

It's still a picayune and petty correction and what error there was in the original text did not in any way shape or form interfere with understanding the meaning and message.
I suspect you wouldn't have said a word about it if Trump had made that apparently egregious and notorious grammatical error.

Have you ever read any of my posts about Trump? If your have, you're blind. If your haven't, you're jumping to biased conclusions based out of ignorance. Pick one. The way Trump addresses the nation is an embarrassment. He puts no thought or practice into what he says, often spouting nearly incoherent gibberish. When it isn't gibberish, it's usually a lie, a contradiction of something else the administration is saying, or both. I've said all of this before. Many times. Your binary "he who disagrees with me in one area must disagree with me in all areas" view of the world is a gigantic blind spot that impairs your vision tremendously.

In fairness, he was not like this pre-LNF. I think that trumP is slowing driving some of us, even some of the best of us, over our own personal cliffs. It's enervating.

Sure, you'll carp about Trump's communications, but you don't seem inclined to do anything constructive about it, like vote for Joe Biden. As usual, you're all petty whining and no action.

I'm sorry if you feel enervated. I don't; I feel more and more motivated to make damn sure Trump is not re-elected. Feel free to give up; there are plenty of us ready to vote and effect change.
PS-You are not the boss of me.

Nobody's giving up, but people are burning out. For all practical purposes, what would the difference be?
Not that I agree that people are giving up, nor are they getting "enervated"...*
I would agree that a majority of American voters are sick and tired of Trump and his self-centered antics. But that doesn't mean they've given up on American democracy. Quite the contrary; they want to restore it and getting Trump out of office is a key part of that.
*en·er·vate verb past tense: enervated; past participle: enervated /ˈenərˌvāt/
cause (someone) to feel drained of energy or vitality; weaken.

I know that the last four years have taken a toll on many of us. I include myself in that group. But I haven't quit or given up. On the contrary, I will continue to resist until my dying day. I don't know any other way.
