What the (uneducated) populace said is that they believe Donald's rhetoric that any pain they feel is the result of the Dems, and that whatever help they are getting, it is not happening fast enough. Donald will have to deal with that same need to respond quickly, and I don't see how tariffs will give them what they want. I see less choice, less quality, higher prices and higher corruption. Donald wants more power in the executive, just like you do, and if all the power is in the executive, the likelihood of fascism increases. Do you want fascism? A monarch? A dictator? If the answer is no, then you should ALWAYS be alert to anything that moves us in that direction. Even just a millimeter in that direction is something you should acknowledge and watch, because every millimeter, is still movement towards a place that (hopefully) none of us wants.
