Obviously.. No one has done more to shield employers from the consequences of hiring undocumented laborers than Republicans .. It's not even a serious question ..
Cheap labor has been their goal forever ..
As you defend the illegal use of cheap black market labor because according to massive corporate farms it will be too costly. Sure.. stick with that lie..
Warning that Trump's stated immigration policies will harm Americans financially is not defending your corporatist desire for cheap labor you dirt faced halfwit..
Democrats have consistently supported a worker visa type program for migrant workers.. a policy that Republicans have fought against for decades ..
But with Trump's track record of failures.. failing so miserably at getting Mexico to pay for the wall.. at replacing Obamacare as he promised and at raising employment levels.. the chances are good that he will fuck up as badly as his deportation scheme ..

Jail CEOs & fine shareholders where companies use illegals. Problem solved. Well… They do jail those who hire illegals in conservative parts of the country. Cities and town police will cooperate with ice. In many democrat cities the local authorities are told not to report or release illegals to ice. These are our self labeled sanctuary cities It goes so far as when federal agents are planning to round up known illegals who have committed felonies the mayors of sanctuary cities - who must be notified of federal raids in a city - will send out an alert to the illegals to let them know a raid is about to happen. But as I say in conservative towns there is cooperation www.justice.gov/usao-me/pr/mexican-restaurant-owners-plead-guilty-hiring-undocumented-aliens-and-false-statementsThe Ukranians say "shoot the archer, not the arrow". Jailing CEOs, legal advisors, finance officers, contract managers, and fining companies so that shareholders burst in to tears is going to work. Rounding up illegals just creates space- at great law enforcement expense- for more illegals.

Conservative areas.. especially agriculture intensive areas .. of the country have consistently stood in the way of immigration reform as fixing the problem would dramatically raise labor costs .

I’m agreeing with you and providing evidence in some parts of the us they do jail business owners as the article shows. But these are conservative areas. The democrat sanctuary cities is where the problem is. They protect the illegals even if criminals and protect the business owners. Fids has never stepped foot on a large farm. Their paperwork is checked all the time.

The problem is the tomatoes we eat are bred for hard skin, durability and shelf life. They are locked green and turn red during transport. The carbohydrates, calcium mechanism never get to covert to sugars and others minerals / vitamins that occur when they open on the vine. So it’s part genetics and part they are not ripened on the vine. There is a good documentary on this. Seeds for profit. Features the Israeli breeder who bred this type tomato.

It's hard to imagine that petep knows anything about good taste so it's likely he's talking about "hothouse" tomatoes. i.e. greenhouse tomatoes. The majority of Mexico's tomatoes are grown this way.. Often picked at first blush and ripened with ethylene gas when needed for a shipment. Typically varietals that ship well but as my great-grandmother put it.. have had the taste bred out of them ..
One of the first instrumentation systems we did was to monitor gas levels for a grower's facility in Florida.. Hothouse tomatoes are tasteless no matter where they're grown.
There's only one way to get a great tomato ..

It's a pity that with the weather they get, the Mexicans resort to hothouses/greenhouses to grow their tomatoes... What's wrong with these guys?

Farmers concerned about "losing staff."

The farmer concerned about "losing staff" btw.
Jennifer Tilton Flood, a dairy farmer from Maine, called the potential mass deportations a "catastrophic nightmare" for the U.S. agricultural industry, particularly the dairy sector, which relies heavily on immigrant labor.
Jenni Tilton-Flood (She/Her/Dairy Farmer) @jtiltonflood Audacity in abundance. A large family of cows & the power to feed mutants. I’m not here to be quiet or someone's cup o'tea. I'm a heady, bold brew.
Such insight! (Something something, experts becoming activists, something something.)

Gotta admit. This is pretty funny tho. From this woman who married an actual farmer and is now widely heralded as an expert as a result. /facepalm
She's sure fond of glamour shots. But what else would a "dope soul" be into?

Fiddler. The source in the original article sure seems to talk a lot about legal immigration on her twitter feed.
Are you getting misled by misleading propaganda pushes again?

Pretty much everything you wrote is false. Just watch the documentary and it explains it. Some of the best tomatoes are greenhouse grown. IF you start with good genetics and let the tomato ripen on the vine. If I plant the same good cultivar open field vs a high tech greenhouse and pick when ripe on the vine they would be next to impossible to tell apart - if the open field conditions were good. Meaning a couple weeks before harvest you want to stress the plant with heat and less water. In a greenhouse you can do this. In open field it’s dependent on weather.
