It’s a real problem. Modern males with porn and video games. Artificial replacements for real life pursuits that hit our reward systems. On the other side, we have pop culture and social media and dating apps distorting modern females’ tendency towards hypergamy. High status men will sleep with (stereotypical) 5s just for the thrill of it. And then the 5s see themselves pursuing these high status men, while they’re just being used in reality for sexual exploit, for potential marriage. This reinforces the medium status men diving deeper into unproductive pursuits, as women’s sense of self worth is artificially inflated and these medium status men are perceived as beneath them. It’s really dark where we’re heading. As an aside, I’m unsure how you’re defining “incel” or “involuntary”. You seem to be saying that it’s not “involuntary”. Do you think these men don’t want to have a relationship with women? I think they do. It seems like you think “incel” is a term used with pride by members of that group?
