After watching this it is my fervent hope that Alan Lichtman gets hit by a bus, removing one of the insufferable cancers plaguing American universities.
"I didn't interpret the keys wrong" he argues, right before acknowledging he interpreted one of the keys wrong.
And then doubling down on all of the talking points to rationalize why he wasn't wrong that so called "experts" used in 2016 to fuel the division, rancor and hate that currently besets our country.
What a piece of shit. I sincerely do hope he gets hit by a bus.
And if you really need me to break it down and show you why he's a piece of shit, I sure can. Probably my biggest failing on the boards is thinking people are smarter than they are and not holding their hand through stuff like this. It's how TL always gets lost in my posts.

I really hope everyone takes the time to educate themselves on what cognitive dissonance and programming looks like.
Alan Lichtman is a very smart guy.
For the thousandth time over the past 8 years .. it's not a smart thing, it's not a dumb thing ... it's a human thing.
Your brain didn't evolve to divine facts or see reality. It evolved to keep you breathing. Whether you're an "esteemed" professor or a half wit pretending to work in California's medical system.

I watched the first minute or so and he just said that he had never seen a party trash their own sitting president before like the Democrats did to Biden. He even specified that this had never happened since the founding of the country. Really? He can't think of any other president that was trashed publicly by his own party like that? Not one? Nobody comes to mind? Amazing. |

The whole thing is a detachment from reality on display that most leftists are probably experiencing right now.
A shock that slows the cognitive functions.
But Lichtman is experiencing what Brennan and Clapper and other career Blob officials have been dealing with since Trump's rise to power, not to mention pundits on meida outlets.
He's spinning to try to preserve his legacy. He's been very important for a very long time. How DARE the American people make him look bad!!! And he's doing what the Brennanite and others in the media ecosphere have been doing for some time now. Blaming the American people for him being wrong.

What I’m seeing is people like this completely ignore many of the things Biden - Harris did while in power that were really bad. Vaccine mandates come to mind. Labeling unvaccinated the enemy. The optics of the fbi and cia lying about the Hunter Biden laptop or pressuring media meant to benefit democrats, The installing a disinformation governance board.
And that’s all forgetting about extended shutdowns, how the teachers union was influencing cdc rules, printing money like crazy etc.
