Peter Sonski, that is. The guy I voted for for President. Maybe next time... Congratulations to the Trump supporters here. It feels good to win. Enjoy it. Here's hoping he keeps us out of needless wars better than others have done. To the Harris supporters, I feel you. I haven't voted for a winning POTUS candidate since 2004. That's a rough streak. Here's hoping she bows out gracefully tonight.

I hear he got sixteen fewer votes than his party did last time. And I'm pretty sure neither Harris nor Trump got those votes. Definitely something sinister.

I do think referencing whether or not the country is slipping into darkness at the end was an unfortunate way to wrap it up and stood in contrast to the rest of the speech, but no, it didn't compare to Trump's reaction to losing in the slightest. That is, however, a very low bar to clear.

Yeah but the system man! The system!
I'm actually doing dual purpose with this hehe. The system literally actually is rigged against 3rd party candidates like ... *scrolls back to double check* .. Peter Sonski.

You're not wrong. Democrats are pro-choice, but not when it comes to having more choices at the ballot box. Republicans believe in free-market competition, except when it comes to allowing more ideas to compete at the ballot box. The ballot box is the one place where choice and competition somehow lose their appeal to the two main parties.

It's ok if you don't want to answer, but if you don't mind, who got your vote? I voted Libertarian.
I'm 0-7 on Presidential elections.

Chase Oliver was the nominee this year, but pretty much vote Libertarian for President in every general election. If the party gets enough votes in Texas, it helps them get ballot access for the next election without having to gather petition signatures.

Which will do what, in practical terms? In practical terms it means that there will for sure be a third party on the ballot in the next election without having to go through the process of gathering signatures - a process designed to limit ballot access.
I favor more ballot access for more parties, so by voting for the Libertarian Party, I'm able to help further that goal in a small way.
