Republicans tank economy..
Democrats fix it.. Republicans tank the economy ..
Democrats fix it..
Trump.. Rinse and Repeat ..
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”
this is almost as big a lie as your the KKK are Republicans
My prediction is that a Trump presidency will result in economic chaos.

No doubt they do. If only a president could wave a magic wand and reduce prices and give everyone a 20% raise, but alas. So voting won't make much difference, but it's understandable that if X isn't working folks want to try Y.
Acknowledging this might not be the best economy in the history of the country based only on the fact that the wealthy are getting fat ROIs would be a good start for a president wanting the people's trust. Queshank
Though it would probably do down better if the messenger was not a billionaire who is likely focused on his own ROI. Who trusts pols anymore, especially one who is a serial liar like no other? Inflation will likely keep going down, so the Fed will cut interest rates and things will get back near to normal. Whether that will satisfy people, who knows?

Good ol' Bern. As if working class goobers carefully examine the economic positions of each party and make a carefully calibrated decision on those factors. Did it ever cross your mind Bernie that quite a few of them are just culturally conservative reactionaries? Bernie did a lot better with all of the groups Harris just did poorly with. So, maybe he knows what he's talking about.

That is certainly possible, though you wouldn't be able to exit poll a demographic that didn't show up. Some potential insight into this question:

Explain to the class how a Liberal could adhere to the KKK's white supremacy, segregation, anti-immigrant, anti-Jew, anti-Catholic, Christian ONLY beliefs ..
That's right.. You can't.. so shut the fuck up ..

The Dems really need to change their messaging if they want the working class vote. The wokeness of the past few years has been a cultural loser that's translated into a political loss. They support unions, but are mocked by union members (and non-union workers alike) as woke idiots. Not gonna win enough votes with that disconnect. But that’s who the democrat party - or at least those in charge - are. They believe in the woke stuff they push. The elites do think they know better.

Wiki must have about 30 demographic groups in their POTUS election entries, though I don't think the one for 2024 is there yet. Maybe Bernie did beat Harris in all categories. That would have been in the Democratic primaries; a general election might be different. A Sanders v. Trump election would be a great matchup, one that will now never occur.

That would have been in the Democratic primaries; a general election might be different. As far as general elections, she under-performed both Biden and Hillary. Her problem is that she didn't appeal to traditional Democratic constituencies. In some cases, flat out lost them. Part of the reason for that is that she and her campaign weren't paying attention to their concerns. Trump winning Dearborn, MI being a great example.
And that's Bernie's point.
Would've been great in 2016.

I'd have to wait until Wiki provides the 2024 election data, but I presume she likely underperformed them in most categories. What could Harris say to them? We're working on a cease fire, that's about it. And do these Muslim voters really think Trump will have their back when he becomes president? They didn't think this one through very well, but one can understand their emotional reaction to their relatives being killed and injured. I remember reading about Hamtramck back in the 1970s and 1980s when it was a very Polish-American city. No more.

A couple of quotes from that article:
"Muslim voters interviewed Tuesday at polling sites said they were disappointed with the Biden administration's support for Israel's attacks and also preferred Trump's views on economics."
Asm "Kamal" Rahman, of Hamtramck, is a Democrat but voted for Trump because of tax and economic issues, saying he will help manufacturing and workers in Hamtramck. He's also upset over deaths in Gaza.
And yes, saying something about Gaza would've helped. Instead, she was running around with Liz Cheney and telling the View she wouldn't do anything different.

I do recall the remarks about the economy being an important factor, as it was for many people. Then you wonder if the situation in the Middle East had been better if that would have blunted the economic worries. I don't know if Harris could have said much about Gaza that would have helped her. She was basically right in tune with Biden on that subject. Running around with Liz was kind of funny, but I can see the strategy behind it. Unfortunately it didn't pan out.

Muslim voters are being misinformed by the same sources as are the rest of us.

Steve Schmidt noted this when that happened. Called it a huge error.
