Hmmm... Maybe they've focused on this message instead of campaigning in battleground states with Liz Cheney.

Hmmm... Maybe they've focused on this message instead of campaigning in battleground states with Liz Cheney. I am wondering how much that hurt Harris. I know a few actual Leftists (not what our LNF morons consider a 'Leftist'), and while they grudgingly pulled the lever for Harris, they weren't happy about it.

C'mon Jack! The "Trump is a fascist and his supporters are racists!" message isn't going to tell itself.
You can't cross the streams. It muddies the picture. And decisions have been made over the past 8 years that dictate the more important messaging win.
I mean. It's what Liz Cheney brought to the campaign pitch in the first place.

Overall, not sure, but I think it was a factor. Probably most potent among Muslim constituencies.
I don't think anyone asked about this in exit polls, so may not ever know.

That is certainly possible, though you wouldn't be able to exit poll a demographic that didn't show up.

The Dems really need to change their messaging if they want the working class vote.
The wokeness of the past few years has been a cultural loser that's translated into a political loss.
They support unions, but are mocked by union members (and non-union workers alike) as woke idiots.
Not gonna win enough votes with that disconnect.

Probably the best place for this: That looks like the progressives finally ... waking ... up to what the Democratic party really is. And are getting ready to start a new party ...
The Trump election is already paying dividends. Queshank

My prediction is that the Trump presidency will result in economic chaos.

Good ol' Bern. As if working class goobers carefully examine the economic positions of each party and make a carefully calibrated decision on those factors. Did it ever cross your mind Bernie that quite a few of them are just culturally conservative reactionaries?

Did it ever cross your mind Bernie that quite a few of them are just culturally conservative reactionaries? Did it ever occur to you that they don't carefully examine the economic positions of each party ... working class "goobers" only examine the economic positions of their households. And vote accordingly.

No doubt they do. If only a president could wave a magic wand and reduce prices and give everyone a 20% raise, but alas. So voting won't make much difference, but it's understandable that if X isn't working folks want to try Y.

Acknowledging this might not be the best economy in the history of the country based only on the fact that the wealthy are getting fat ROIs would be a good start for a president wanting the people's trust. Queshank
