EDIT: This is the disrespect I'm talking about RP. I love you as a person man. And have no doubt we could have some good times hanging out. But as a thinker, you don't have my respect so I don't give you respect. The problem is not that your posts are unfocused. It's that they're too focused. Rigid. Breakable one would argue. And I do. It's what happened to you. The world HAS to make sense in *this specific way*. You need an authoritative figure to tell you what the world means. Books that teach you how to understand what the world means on your own are beyond you. But the world doesn't make sense and it's under no obligation to you to make itself make sense. It's on you to understand it. Not the other way around. That was your position 15 years ago and it's still your position today. So one could definitely argue you haven't changed at all I suppose. Just found new talking points.

And how deluded are you to think the books you read help you to see the world as it is, on your own, while everyone else (or just me!) is reading mere "authorities" that tell them what to think.
