If a candidate drops out of a race, shouldn't they be removed from the ballot? Or is this a "just because Trump's running" thing?

Back in August, it was pretty evenly split between Trump and Harris in Michigan. In Wisconsin, it was more Trump.

The law in Wisconsin is that you're not coming off the ballot unless you're dead.
The issue is pretty much moot though. Mail ballot and early voting have already begun.
