Take politics out of it. Do you think people who laughed at comedians of the past making fun of different ethnicities were all "revealing how racist and misogynistic they were"? Or does laughing at edgy race humor perhaps have more nuance? Perhaps it's genuinely meant in good fun. Kill Tony has constant racial humor, and the audience is extremely mixed. Perhaps the left is just getting their panties in a twist because they see taking offense as a way to gain political control. And that has worked in the past. I'm hoping that is ending.
