Immigrants reproducing with American citizens? Nope. But I don't believe that's what is meant.
Foreign cultures that come in, are fumdamentally at odds with American values, and refuse to assimilate? Then yes.

When immigrants want to move here, we have immigration laws to make sure of many things including their health. If they are just a good normal person that will be able to support him or herself, they get a welcome entry. If they sneak over the border, now they have already broken one of our laws. |

Genetics are what they are, having legal status or not doesn't impact them. We could say that of anyone. The best most honorable person and the serial pedophile. If one is not following and respecting the most basic law of a country, why would we expect them to follow other laws. Simply, we have a legal process. Follow it. I think I've said this before, but here it is again just for you. Current US immigration law (it's been the way it is now for about forty years) says that any person, NO MATTER HOW THEY GOT HERE, can apply for asylum in the US. Until that changes, we will have a border problem. A wall won't fix it. trump won't fix it. Congress has to fix it. They tried to move in that direction back in the summer but trump told them not to. And in case you miss the point here (you say "we have a legal process. Follow it.") the "legal process" is that no matter how you got here, you can apply for asylum, which is what the vast majority of these people do. The fact that there are not enough immigration officials or courts or hearing rooms isn't their fault. But I bet you don't believe any of those facts. Because you're in a cult. |

Elon Musk was originally in the US illegally to work, like so many Mexicans before him. So there's that. Not exactly. He was here initially on a student visa, which does not allow you to work. But he never enrolled at Stanford (his visa application stated he was intending to take a course of study at Stanford) and instead started up some company and sold it for something like 300 million dollars. He was illegal for quite a length of time. |
