I love our country for many reasons.
But on many metrics we are failing. To ignore these problems is foolish and just what swamp politicians want.
I’m not aware of many countries other such a massive gang culture in parts of our cities.
How about fentanyl deaths.
How about how far we’ve sunk in education after Carter started the dept of education and over time education control has been centralized.
How about a president installing a disinformation governance board so govt could decide what is true and not true in an unprecedented attack on free speech.
Look at our debt. Our dependence on steel, aluminum, energy, food.
Look at how lobbysists control much of govt.

The POTUS won't lower the price of gas, bread, milk or other neccessities. That's not what they do, despite the rhetoric. The great outsorcing is due to gobalization, which is built upon our collective pursuit of the lowest possible prices, as this is how we all shop. The politicians aren't at fault, the business leaders/chambers of commerce aren't at fault, they're giving us exactly what we're voting for with our wallets, lower prices. Everything else is partisan or cultural bullshit.

Everything else is partisan or cultural bullshit. I don’t believe much of what you wrote. I’ve been with too many companies to see what a great leader can do. Massive transformation. And I’ve seen great companies and brands go to shit under bad leadership. I watched New York City go from an absolute shithole in the 70’s and become clean and substantially better under Giuliani and then sink back over time under different mayors. Leadership makes a massive difference in any organization, including govt. and sports. And households. Do you think San Francisco went from being the city it was to what it is now just by some mythical inevitable force. No. It’s been bad politicians and bad public policy. Brandon Judd of the. Order patrol has said repeatedly if Biden wanted to address the chaos at the border and all the illegal crossings he could do it inside 24 hours by simply reinstating the trump policies Biden took away via executive order when he assumed power. That’s policy. And directly related to a person.

Trump got it exactly right, but YOU can't handle the truth, can you? It's not Trump treating this country like a garbage can, it's the people that YOU support and vote for. Stop being stupid and pretending that he was calling the country garbage.

That's pretty much what happened. Cry all you want about it. It's a shame and a disaster, courtesy of Biden/Harris.

Is that the Brandon Judd president of the National Border Patrol Council a group representing more than 18,000 agents who said of the bill days before Trump nixed so he could run on the border issue. .. .. .. The National Border Patrol Council — which represents more than 18,000 agents — said the bill would “drop illegal border crossings nationwide and will allow our agents to get back to detecting and apprehending those who want to cross our border illegally and evade apprehension.”
It's a significant statement of support from a group that endorsed former President Donald Trump in 2020 and has repeatedly railed against President Joe Biden’s handling of the border.
“While not perfect, the Border Act of 2024 is a step in the right direction and is far better than the current status quo,” Brandon Judd, president of the council, said in the statement. “This is why the National Border Patrol Council endorses this bill and hopes for its quick passage.”
That Brandon Judd?
