If you soon won't be able to insure a home or a business there, who is going to stay there?

If you soon won't be able to insure a home or a business there, who is going to stay there? Greg People who enjoy freedom and liberty. And working. The people who escaped the authoritarian grip of New York and Chicago and Minneapolis.

People that can afford to buy insurance from the few companies that still offer it there? Greg In my 20 years I lived there I heard that every year. Never happened. The population just grew. The same way people leave Cuba for florida. Or New York. Or Chicago. Or any other authoritarian shithole.

Greg. I pay a lot less here than I did in Connecticut. For my house, truck insurance and motorcycle insurance I pay $470.86 a month. I don’t know his insurance company, but my brother is paying more for his insurance than I am. Just for his house. A lot more. A bit over 6 grand. And his house is no bigger than mine here in Florida, but he does have a couple of acres in Wolcott like I used to. And my house in Wolcott that was bigger than this one. 2180.00 square feet. I don’t remember paying that much when we moved here to Florida many years ago. Democrats are in power in Connecticut.

I don’t like the hurricanes either Greg. But in Connecticut I lived in Wolcott. Nice country. But we had well water and septic only. And in the winter or anytime you lost electric power, it was not good. I don’t remember anyone having a generator either. But now they are getting them too. My brother has one. I remember even worrying about the water pipes in the garage coming from the well freezing. The garage didn’t get that cold because some heat from the cellar kept it a bit warm. Nice to have a cellar Greg. I used to make my own wine. I got the juice sent refrigerated from California. 15 gallons. Came in five gallon buckets. I had four five gallon glass jars to ferment it in. Two other guys in my motorcycle club used to make wine too. We used to all share it once a month on our Thursday meeting night. And one of the guys, Tommie used to cook up some good Italian food to pick on after the meeting. It was good. Rat Pack Motorcycle club. I was an original member. Five of us started it. Cricket, skinny, nasty Bruce, my brother and me.
