We traded Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, known as the “Merchant of Death,” for WNBA player Brittney Griner.

As to whether this lifelong arms dealer was in the meeting as sources say. Maybe. Maybe not. It’s certainly plausible a lifelong arms dealer would considering going back into his old business. No?
A bit like when we first went into Iraq and realized we were fighting against people with French made weapons.
And I’m sure there have been cases in which we find us weapons in our enemies hands.
The question still remains. Was it wise to trade an infamous arms dealer for a basketball player.
