They're freaking out over LEGGINGS? Freon I expect an overreaction from the peanut gallery, but you know better. This is not typical in the Protestant churches that I'm familiar with, and we have them on every other corner here in the South. Our ladies have been in jeans/pants for decades in church.
That being said, the skin tight stretch pants that look like they were sprayed on are not appropriate respect for others. It's not anti-woman to ask for common decency and respect from men and women inside a church.

I don't agree with those speakers. But if their communities want to abide by certain social norms, who are you all to judge it?
You get so overwhelmed and upset when people just judge modern sexuality, without any advocacy of using the government to stop it. But more traditional ways of dressing? That's a real problem?

Outside, there were no restrictions on bikinis or shorts or tube tops (I grew up in the 70s). We went to the beach with a church group and there were bikinis galore. Don't know who the yahoos were in the posted videos, but they don't reflect my religion. Salvation is not dependent on a dress code. |

Meanwhile, they have an issue with a community of people expressing a desire for people to be more modest. No mention of government coercion. No mention of violence. Just an appeal for modesty. And that's a real scandal.
