It kinda makes a person really wonder, although, .. some truth is likely in it, but, I do NOT buy into all of it! Well-Connected Economist Admits US Elections are all RIGGED; Donald Trump may not "Be ALLOWED" to Become President AgainBy: Hal Turner September 05, 2024 According the Economist Eric Weinstein, the ENTIRE American election system is setup to "prune" populist candidates through Primary Elections, to make certain both party Candidates are acceptable to the International Rules-Based Order. Our election system thereby provides only the "illusion" of Democracy, because both party candidates become a "magicians choice" . . . "Pick a card, any card" but the magician always knows what card it is, because the people cannot be trusted to decide.Eric Weinstein is, by any measure, a "power player" in matters financial and political. He is presently the Managing Director of Peter Thiel's "Theil Capital" of San Francisco. You remember Peter Thiel, don't you? He was on stage at the 2016 Republican National Convention where he announced he is proud to be a Gay Republican.
Weinstein did his PhD thesis at Harvard University in 1992 and taught at Oxford. By any measure, this is a very educated man, who is very connected in finance and big money as Managing Director of Thiel Capital. So when he speaks, he does so from real knowledge; knowledge that only "Insiders" actually possess. What he said in a recent Podcast, is utterly staggering:
"I don't know that Donald Trump will be allowed to become President (again)."
Weinstein then goes on to explain the REAL situation behind each and every national American Election: "The illusion of Democracy."

I find it very hard to believe. She did nothing as VP for four years. She could not even take care of the border. How is she going to take care of the whole country and all our business arrangements with other countries? The only way she knows how to make money is, you and all corporations pay tax. And what does that do? It is called inflation.

Fiddler, you and a few others here have no idea of how a successful country must be run. You and some others here all want to be taken care of by the government. I am the good normal people do not want to be everyone else’s care taker. It is a free country. Get out and take care of yourself unless you are truthfully disabled. I do not believe or trust many here.

You ARE quite correct, .. she is NOT all that bright or talented, except for maybe knowing how to use her body years and years ago, .. to get to the top politically. Poor Willie Brown was likely fucked to death by her!

Get out and take care of yourself unless you are truthfully disabled. I'm retired Arch.. close to 10 years now. I and a business partner operated an Automation and Instrumentation Integration company .. We designed and built the type of equipment you were trained to service.. I do not believe or trust many here. Yes.. It's because you've allowed people to tell you what to think ..

No doubt Mr Weinstein has impressive academic credentials but his current connection to Peter Thiel calls into question his judgement and sense of ethics. Thiel, a billionaire looking to "disrupt" US politics has for a long while been a force hostile to the republic. Thiel has funded many libertarian organizations and projects, including the Sea-steading Institute being discussed on LNF currently. In a Cato essay, Thiel said: “I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible…” Why? Because if you empower the demos, they will eventually vote for restrictions on the power of capitalists. and therefore, restrictions on their “freedom.” This anti-democratic, anti-republican, authoritarian approach to politics is not a mystery when you consider Thiel's background. www.unpopularfront.news/p/the-enigma-of-peter-thielThis sounds like another illiberal billionaire with apartheid roots and a desire to influence US politics.

Are there any foreign born billionaires who have a desire to influence US politics that shouldn’t be criticized?

No, nobody is above criticism but it's also true that not all criticism is equally valid.
