I'm hopibg she's improved her public persona and presentation since she ran in '20...not expecting much though. This interview and the debate with Agent Orange need to happen.
My prediction?
She comes off as "meh" and Walz does the heavy lifting.

Here's an uncomfortable truth: candidates are picked with an eye toward how they might appeal to different groups of people. Shapiro was looked at because he could potentially deliver Pennsylvania. Pence was brought on to help appeal to evangelicals.
As long as a candidate appeals to white voters, nothing about demographics is brought up, but if the gambit involves groups outside of that frame, all of a sudden "we're aren't selecting the best anymore."

If Kamala Harris was white and male, the extreme incompetence would remain and he/she/it would still be unqualified to clean the shitter in the White House, much less lead it.

centuries. Hardly a peep about neutrality about race or everyone being
equal under the law. Then when that advantage started to diminish suddenly

Will go something like this: -Walz/Harris constantly asking for the questions to be repeated -Both will use every opportunity to redirect the question to something else where they can filibuster by talking forever about something -Expect Walz to jump in the moment Harris is starting to cackle or mumble or meander like she usually does -Expect a lot of fluff stories, like Coach Walz stories -I don't have much faith that there will be any challenging questions and whatever questions may ask something on policy, they certainly will not push back if not directly answered By the time we get though all of that, we might get 10 minutes of actual questions around policy, but mostly all just a moment of free air time to talk about policy as if it were a campaign speech. |
