Local PBS station is presenting the classic movie, commercial-free, circa 1963, "The Great Escape", tonight.
It features Steve McQueen, James Garner, Richard Attenborough, James Donald, Charles Bronson, Donald Pleasence.
Although I probably already have it on tape/dvd, I will probably set aside three hours to watch it. It's a great movie.

It is a great movie. When my younger son was about 10, he said that was his second-favourite movie. I asked, "What's your favourite movie?" He replied, "I don't have one." |
